As was quickly pointed out by an attentive follower, Ruskin did not die on February 20 but a month earlier, on January 20. All day, as I was polishing the just published Post, I had one of those nagging feelings that something was amiss, but it eluded me. I apologize to all for the error, but don’t believe it compromises the substance of the Post. After all, there is nothing wrong with celebrating his passing twice! If anyone deserves double recollecting, it is Mr. Ruskin!
